High school graduates from Desoto, Texas, have graduated with their diplomas after the school announced on Monday that its students had become the first school in the country to successfully complete a graduation ceremony.
The high school was founded in 2010 by Steveson High School, which is a part of the Desoto Independent School District (DISE).
According to the school’s website, the school is dedicated to helping students achieve academic excellence in school.
“Students who attend our school achieve an excellent graduation rate, are a great asset to our community, and have the potential to serve as great role models for future generations,” the school said.
Desoto ISD is a suburb of Dallas, and has a population of about 11,000.
The school was named the first-ever high school in Texas, after the city’s largest school district, the Dallas Independent School System (DISS).
